TOBY’S ESTATE - EDGE MALL

With the design intent of bringing the outdoors in, the new Toby’s Estate in Shuwaikh is a redux design, taking its cues from the original Toby’s Shuwaikh location.

The use of square pavers laid in concentric patterns act as an extension of the outdoors brought in to emphasize the feeling of an indoors garden. The symmetrical square space layout of the unit are strengthened by high ceilings to emphasize the feeling of ample space, while full height mirrors reflect lights and the lush indoor landscaping.

Tall Birds of paradise plants elevate the experience and evoke a strong sense of tranquility that is complimented by the use of warm woods in the benches, coffee bar, and furniture. The space stays true to the modernity of the brand through the contrast of linear lights that move with the curves of the space, and a sense of experiential intimacy through the use of low-hanging modern pendants.
